Kids learn to observe the world around them and tell simple stories through pictures, drawings, and sequences.

Ages 9-12

Ages 9–12

Students develop narrative structure, learn visual sequencing, and create multi-frame stories with intent.

  • Storyboard a short narrative
  • Use visual metaphors
  • Present a visual story to peers
Ages 13-16

Ages 13–16

Advanced visual communication — documentary-style narratives, photo essays, and cross-media storytelling.

Learning Outcomes

  • Produce a photo essay or visual documentary
  • Critique and refine visual narratives
  • Build a storytelling portfolio
